January and February 2012

January 1, 2012 at 12:00am

January was a pretty mellow month.  We spent it getting back into the flow of everyday life.  We love our Winter Break just a little too much and find ourselves prying ourselves out of bed and into the thick of school and sports.

Jesse's mother's headstone was completed.

Cousin, Ethan, at the cemetery

In February, Megan went to her first school dance.  The theme was the 1950's.  Megan was able to wear her great, great, grandmothers dress!  Can you believe it?  I am guessing this dress is from the 1940's, and it still looks this great.

Jesse and I also went on a CRUISE.  We left from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and went with 9 other couples from our Church Ward.  It was a BLAST!

We traveled to:
1.  Grand Cayman where we swam with stingrays.
2.  Roatan, Honduras where we visited a zoo and hung out at the beach, snorkeling, etc.
3.  Belize where we went cave tubing
4.  Cancun via Cozumel and visited the ancient Mayan ruins led by a tour guide named Helaman!

But the best thing about this vacation was the company.  With 20 of us, we were always having fun.

Okay, and the food was amazing, of course  :)
